The Nigerian Movie Industry has drastically improved its reputation for quality content as it continues to produce more professional actors who are doing well in the industry and are making us proud as well as competing favourably with their counterparts in Bollywood, Hollywood etc.
Sincerely speaking, we need to always appreciate what we have as nobody would ever take care of our things the way we should have it and any criticism should be constructive and not destructive to our progress as a people.
We have had many actors in the movie industry that have done well for themselves and have contributed to the development of our Society. We still have others who made the money and use it for luxury and plastic surgery just to look like what and who they are not.
Crux of the matter is on Rita Dominic who barely few hours of posting her pictures on her Instagram page to celebrate her birthday, some people came with comments that was not really OK with me. Instead of wishing her a happy birthday anniversary, they were busy saying all sorts.
However, before I show you what she posted on her page to celebrate her special day and what people are saying about her, let me take a moment of pleasure to tell you a little about the celebrity, Rita Dominic.
According to Wikipedia, “Rita Dominic is a member of the Royal Nwaturuocha family of Aboh Mbaise local government area in Imo State. She is the youngest of four children. Her late parents were health care professionals, her father was a medical doctor and mother a nursing officer.”
“Dominic attended the prestigious Federal Government College, Ikot Ekpene, Akwa Ibom State, Nigeria, before heading to the University of Port Harcourt, where she graduated with a BA (Honours) Degree in Theatre Arts in 1999.”
Dominic started performing as a child, appearing in school plays and children’s television shows in Imo State. In 1998 she starred in her first movie, A Time to Kill. She won the City People Awards in 2004 as the Most Outstanding Actress. She has starred in over 100 Nollywood productions.
Against this background, I wish to share with you briefly the post she made on her page. See post below;
After the post, I was able to capture few comments on a Facebook Page where people were busy saying all sorts instead of wishing her well on a day like this.
Son CruiseCruize said, “if this is Dominic, then she try, seeing that at least as an actress, the thing still stand balanced.”
Doris Paris said, “Old woman, she should go and marry.”
