JAMB has lately directed that all Institutions would begin the process for admission of the first and second choice with immediate effect from August 21st, 2020.
This statement also conveyed that the Joint Admission Matriculation Board also urged that selling of forms for admission into some programmes should be done through them.
As they ask candidates to apply for this progammes directly at the jamb office.
Dr Fabian Benjamin, being the jamb spokesman detailed in his statement on Sunday, as he gave out the directives as he warned over duplication of application forms which will not be accepted.
And the issued guidelines also had it that all admission exercise MUST be held at the Central Admission Processing System.
The guideline also reads in a part that; “All applications for admissions to First Degree, National Diploma, National Innovation Diploma and the Nigeria Certificate in Education into full-time, distance learning, part-time, outreach, sandwich, etc”, must be processed only through JAMB.
Note: The 2020/2021 admission exercise will be held and conducted on the Jamb CAPS.
And it was made clear that no institution is allowed to publish, announce, exhibit or paste any name(s) of admitted candidates without the approval of the name on CAPS.
All institutions are strictly warned not to charge anything above N2,000 for any reason as at purchasing the screening form or make candidates to pay for any other screening related expenses directly or indirectly.
